Australian Airspace Policy
Information on airspace and air traffic management policy.
The current Australian Airspace Policy Statement (AAPS) came into effect on 5 October 2018 and is now under review. The revised draft AAPS is open for public comment. To complement the AAPS, consultation has also commenced on the National Strategic Airspace: National Aviation Policy Issues Paper.
This policy statement confirms that Australia’s Government aviation agencies will adopt a common approach to risk management in relation to the assessment of airspace and air traffic management.
