National Water Infrastructure Loan Facility

The $2 billion National Water Infrastructure Loan Facility (the loan facility) is available to provide state and territory governments with concessional loans to co-fund the construction of economically viable water infrastructure.

On 1 July 2018, the Regional Investment Corporation (the RIC) opened and assumed responsibility for the delivery of the loan facility. Details on how to apply are available on the RIC website.

The loan facility is in addition to, and complements, the National Water Infrastructure Development Fund (the fund)—a key measure of the Agricultural Competitiveness White Paper.
