Australia entered a new era for road vehicle standards when the Road Vehicle Standards (RVS) legislation commenced on 1 July 2021.
This modernised regulatory framework ensures all vehicles being provided to the Australian market for the first time meet safety, environmental and anti-theft requirements.
Manufacturers and importers of road vehicles and components can create an account and apply for an RVS approval through ROVER – a one-stop shop for RVS applications and approvals.
